Topic: HOW TO RECEIVE FROM YOUR GIVING Part 1

Scripture Reading: Luke 6:38 (NKJV)

"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you."

Giving is one of the greatest principles in the Kingdom of God. The Bible declares that it is more blessed to give than to receive. However, God never intended giving to leave you empty. Every act of giving is a seed with a divine promise of harvest.

One of the ways to receive from your giving is to be expectant. Whenever you give to God or to others, do it with faith and a confident expectation that God will fulfill His Word. Your expectation is a demonstration of your faith. The Bible says that our hope is living, and expectation has power. Those who give without expectation often fail to recognize the harvest when it comes.

God is faithful to His promises. He watches over His Word to perform it. As you give cheerfully and in faith, believe that He will return your seed in ways that exceed your imagination. Refuse to give out of fear or obligation; instead, give with joyful expectation, knowing that your labour and generosity in the Lord are never in vain.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for teaching me the principle of giving. I choose to give with a heart full of faith and expectation. I believe Your Word that as I give, it shall be given back to me in good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over. Help me to remain generous and expectant of Your abundant provision. In Jesus' name, Amen.
